sorry to hear that man. do complain to the Agent at Allstate. it's possible to get more $ out of this incident.

rental car expense + days of taking time off (you can get reimbursed by the insurance company after you burn your pto) + go to the hospital forsure (get some neck, back treatments)..

i'd make sure that the shop uses OEM parts only

So it wasn't considered a total after all? Congrats on the coverage, that's always good news when dealing with insurance companies.

So I thought I'd update you guys with some pics, I've had the car well over a month however but the work was done to my expectations, The guys @ impressive auto know did a good job. Also installed some Miro 111's 19's all around 8.5 up front and 9.5 in the rears

This was the hit side, excuse the mess it's garbage day

Everything lines up, the trim could be a little better IMO

What an idiotic argument! If you weren't there, you'd have been somewhere else, and probably in harm's way too. Your premium is based on how many miles you drive among other things, so how can they penalize you for driving around? Sometimes lawyers are just idiots, making whatever argument serves their needs whether it's logical or not.

Any idea on what your carfax will say now and the effect on the value of the car?

I have similar damage on drivers side due to near head-on collision, avoided but took the hit down the drivers side.
Police found the other drivers car the next day, so I'm working through all state now.

Initial estimate is $6400 but they haven't removed the doors yet. Dropping it off today at a BMW certified repair center, and seeing an orthopedist for my shoulder pain.
