Hello, I am looking for recommendations for decent tires to replace my current stock Continental ContiSport Contact 2s. When I was last at the BMW dealership it seemed that they were touting Good Year tires. Any thoughts ? I am looking at the Good Year Eagle F1 All Seasons. Any advice or guidance would be much appreciated. Thanks.

Details:

255/50/R17 94 currently on the mags.

Hankook ventus, General exclaim, michelin ps2... seems to be the consensus for stock replacements, it all depends on your budget. Let me know if you are interested, we can ship the tires out to you at very competitive prices.

I love my Hankook Ventus V12 Evos. They are wonderful tires and at $185 for rears and $170 for fronts (each) at tirerack.com, they are an incredible value.

After a lengthy study of tyre reviews I have ordered a set of Hankook Ventus V12 Evos,245/35R19 front,275/30R19 rear. They are around 20% cheaper than the OEM Continentals here in the UK,if you look at Tyre Rack prices and replace the $ by the £ that's about what we pay.

Congrats. Those are my tire sizes as well. I guess that everything car-related is cheaper in the US.

Interestingly, the pricing difference isn't the same with the Continental SportContact2.Tyre Rack prices are $289 (245/35R19),$349 (275/30R19) and the cheapest UK prices are £205 and £225 respectively.Of course,we have the dreaded 17.5% Value Added Tax,which may rise to 20% in the not to distant future!
