I only have one key to use, i don't have a spare key to try. The engine will turn on but it will not start, meaning it will just keep revving but not start.
keep in mind that when i have the key in the ignition on the second on position, the throttle body starts to click flapping in and out.

you may have a bad maf sensor. the maf sensor may not be detecting airflow, and is moving the throttle body to try and get an air reading. but you'd figure the engine would fire up at least somewhat.
try disconnecting the battery for a bit, and see if that changes anything.

In your first post I assume you meant the DISA ...the electronically controlled flap (intake adjuster) for low end air? As long as it stays open your car will idle like shit but still start and run fine at RPMs above 1000 or so.

Doesn't mean the battery is shot. Maybe it lost its cranking amps. Turn on your radio and interior lights and see. If your charger is a large engine start then probably not the issue. If you have a little battery tender or a smaller charger that's not going to work. I don't know what to tell you. It's not a bad MAFS bcause you could unplug it and car will start fine. Do you hear clicking? If so that's your starter. Did you check your starter?

Anyone know how many throttle sensors are in the BMW 545i?

Could you explain what you mean a little more in detail?
in my earlier post i was stating revving, which i found the proper term to be cranking. The car would crank but it would not start. Also having the key in the ignition and turned on to acc. The Throttle body would flap it's butterfly blade on it's own.
I ordered some crankshaft sensor so I'm going to see if that could be the problem even though it didnt throw out any cps codes.
