I go on several Bimmer forums in addition to this just to look up information on the JB3 before I finally make my decision, and I notice that on many of the boards he has been banned. Is this some shady business involving him and the numbers he provides for his products? Did he launder money or something? I wasn't sure where to ask this, since I guess I'm indirectly asking about the mods he sells and if they are in fact legit. It's just so peculiar that he has been banned on so many boards, and I believe one of them is in fact this forum as well.

he's on n54tech.com now...and is one of the admins there..
stories may differ...from what I understand...admins and mods of certain sites did not appreciate the discussions him and other vendors would get into...so they banned him as they thought he was the source/cause of the trouble....
I've spoken and met with him...he's a nice guy and reputable...not shady at all IMO...buy with confidence....
AFAIK, he has not been banned from this site, he's just not a member here...I could be wrong tho....

Ah ok. It just sent up a red flag when his posts would show up when I searched the forums for JB3 info. and I thought I used to see "banned" under his username. If it wasn't this board, it was definitely the other big BMW forums. But thanks for clarifying.
