does anyone know if bipassing(not unplugging) the communications part of a tcu unit will screw up the other other functions of the tcu? i went to 2 bmw dealerships the one that did the bi pass for me said its ok and its been a year now, but the other one says in due time other functions of the tcu unit will screw up like my memory and computerized stuff, i was wondering if neone can confirm this with me? cuz a new tcu unit is expensive.
