Im only new to the beemer world...i have a 2005 525i
in the centre console area theres a slide panel that has a little symbol on a button...does anybody know what it is?

 

I have a 05 530l, in the bottom of the center storage area, against the forward bulkhead, there is a opening, with a slide to close it off. This regulates air flow into the lower storage area, to keep your candy bar Cold.

 

I suspect it's a warning not to put stuff there when the arm rest slide is forward, else it get smashed when you slide it back.

 

lol, I have an 04 525i & have the exact same symbol in the same place, I think audiophool nailed it as to what it stands for because I have not seen one thing about it anywhere in the books that came with the car.
