i am finding it difficult to find this module in uk.

it is necessary. i aint gettin no auio, noithing wotsoeva becos of this box missing

Have you contacted a BMW dealership's parts department? Any dealer can order the part for you -- it's probably not something that is stocked.

well i blew mine up with salt water.. my car will be down for a few days... hope it does not cause any more problems...

Make sure you flush all the salt off the car. It's highly corrosive and will cause metal to rust or otherwise oxidize over time if you don't get ALL of it out. Be especially focused on cleaning the electrical cable connectors that got wet. If they get cruddy, all sorts of weird stuff can happen. You might want to squirt some WD-40 on the connectors when you are all done cleaning it up.
