Strange white box next under spare tire

To find out what that is, unplug it and crank the engine to see what report in i-Drive. Worst comes worst, bring/tow it to dealer.

As stated above, it's the Micro Power Module.

I think the MPM is in charge of switching off electrical "consumers" if it detects a problem that could cause the battery to die, etc.
