Strange noise when I open my door

My Ride: 2006 525i, Silver Metallic, Black Leather, Automatic, Premium, Cold Weather, Xenons.

Sometimes when the engine is off and I open my car door I hear a stange clicking sound which seems like it is coming from the center console where the vents are. If I shut the door the clicking sound goes away. It does not appear to affect anything and I do not get any errors on the I Drive when I start the car. It just seend weird that it would do that. Has anyone heard of this before? On average it happens about once every other day. Thanks.
