Hey guys, i noticed that for whatever reason, the counter for my front and rear brake pads only are counting up rather than counting down?? Everything else seems to be functioning ok...oil, inspections, brake fluid and mircofilter (i just changed the filters and now it says 100k miles). Would this software glitch be covered under warranty? My car is a 2005 with 65k miles.

Nothing wrong. The car computer projects expected lifetime of service items based on your driving over distance and time. What it really means is you're driving in a way that is easy on the mechanics and based on that they will last longer... Hope that helps!

Ahh. I see. I didnt realize it took driving habits into the computation. Interesting! I do lots of highway driving and do put a good amount of miles on the car. Good to know! Thanks!

100k miles for the microfilters is questionable ,mine showed 40k miles after reset, but another thread mentioned 80k .Say you did 20k miles a year ,I doubt whether you would want to leave them for 5 years.
