I bought mine last weekend. (08 535i Sport) I spent a solid month test driving everything from American muscle, Mercedes, Audi, VW, toyota, you name it, I drove it. Nothing could even touch this vehicle. The N54 is a BEAST

Actually, no. Only car I've tested was a 335 coupe, but that was a while ago. And even though it was pretty fast, I wasn't swept away by it. It wasn't bad, but I am much too attached to my 530Xi to prefer the 335 to it. Maybe M3 would change my mind. Either way, I think I'll end up having to buy a second car. And if I sell this E60, I'll probably buy an M5 E60 in a couple of years, whenever I can afford to have the extra expense.

same thing happened to me. i was actually dead set on a lexus gs350 and my wife suggested i simply give the e60 a spin because i was somewhat, kinda sorta pondering it. bought it the next day.

I'll just leave it at that
I feel you, man.

I keep trying to talk myself into Audi's or Mercedes, but every time I end up buying another Bimmer. Don't get me wrong, those others are nice cars, but BMW's just have that certain "je ne sais quoi".

I don't always break the speed limit, but when I do, I prefer the e60!
