Everything else is pretty straight forward. Day 2 and no noise =)

I have the same noise when the steering wheel moves up or down. I am not seeing "the screw in the bottom of the column surround" but I do see what looks like a lever of some kind roughly behind the brake pedal. I have a 2004 545i. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Thanks

can anyone take pictures while this is being fixed, and what part has to be greased.. A picture is worth a thousand words. Thank you in advance.

Yeah, I don't see a screw on my 04 545 either and the noise is killing me.

I get a squeaky noise when the steering wheel automatically moves up/down when you put in the key fob. The dealer has fixed it before but now I'm out of my warranty and it has come back. Will have to try these solutions when the snow here melts
