Well, just to chime in, I am the member that was not able to communicate with his car. I have the latest files, so there might be some conflict with his software. I was not able to read back his car at all.
SolelyBimmer uses Autologic, which is obviously very different than NCSexpert, so I had no doubt that their medium would work for the OP.

Also, Nomis_nehc is also the member that originally recommended Soley Bimmer to me a while back, and I am grateful for it. They did a great job.
