had the same thing on my car with all the windows..
its not the windows its the door seals....
talked to my SA he told me it was under the body shop dept, he also said that its, normal...so i decided not to bother with them as it will be a headache to convince them that its not..
few days ago... bought some WD-40 sprayed the door seals both on the door and car...the car is now quite..
i have also heard of people cleaning the seals every couple of months... my way worked for me...but im sure the cleaning also works...

I had my door seals replaced ( warranty ) & it cured the same problem. Although they said it was my fault for using ' wrong ' type of car shampoo, which contaminated the old seals. Funny that the same shampoo was not a problem on my last BMW!.

The sqeeking comes from the window seals.
Use Search, you should find a lot of writings about the matter,
including a BMWNA TIS bulletin!
Have them replaced and after that be sure not to wax them nor
use any silicone etc.
Please, Mz3bo, fill in your whereabouts and facts of your E60!

from the sound that your describing i "think" its the door seals although i know it sounds like coming from the windows...
the sound of something like ruber rubbing...it happens on speed bumps and turns, also under acceleration and braking at times... mostly when the body has movement and flexis.. doesnt happen on straight smooth roads...this is what i had with the door seals...

My Ride: 545i - ordered in January delivered April 21st! Black Sapphire Metallic, Black Dakota Leather, Anthracite Maple.
Door seals - clean them and you will be good to go. Search for the bulletin - make sure your car is eligible because mine had the new seals.
