Talked a little with my tech when I booked the time for the rear susp update. Asked him about my rev going up and down a little when crusing. He showed me two bulletines with updates of the software to cure this. The one that seemed to fit my descriptions was to be released in Dec.

I don't know if this is only for 535d.

My dealer told me about 535D has problem whith torque converter and the revs that goes up and down. I have problem when parking and shift from D>R>D and then you hear and can feel a big slam from differential.

We got a new torque converter, and a new gearbox at no cost, due to very bad sounds from the gearbox during downshifts or kick-down... The torque converter was replaced too, due to wandering RPM-problems.

BMW Stockholm took care of this.. Our car was built in one of the two weeks where ZF had problems with the gearbox. After a lot of argumenting with BMW they changed the gearbox and the torque converter at no cost.

Hmmm, I'm a little confused... Anyone have these bulletins in electronic format?

My gearbox sometimes does the rev hunting thing, usually on a slight incline but sometimes on the level. As my car is approaching the end of its warranty I'm very interested in anything that can get me a new software update/gearbox/torque convertor!
