+1..I've parked next to a few non sport e60's and my e60 with the sport package sits lower...

not sure If there is a difference between ZMP and ZSP for ride height...
Glad to hear a few responses that go along with everything I thought I knew....I thought I was living in a bizzaro world or something for a second there.

Hmm.... I'll be happy to admit that I am wrong once someone without ZSP/ZMP posts metrics.

ZMP does indeed sit lower and the literature of the time even indicated it. Unlike the ZSP. Standard sport package in the US had the same indicated ride height as non-sport.

This is been discussed before. In '04 there was no difference in the US models. Even in the 2007's (without M-Tech) sport and non-sport had the same ride height. The sports had DD and different wheels. The only difference in height is between the AWD and RWD models. Yes, typically, the sports do have a lower ride height but not on the E60's for some reason.
Unbelievable.

What? No way! So why are the non-sport RWD E60's on here all sitting up on stilts, and the sports are nice and low? That's no illusion.

When someone posts a pic of their non-sport, it's always higher than a sport....with most people yelling, "Drop it!"

So let me get this straight....you are saying a RWD E60 US spec with NON-sport suspension sits at the same height as one with the SPORT suspension? I don't believe it, but I'll let others chime in.
+100% Agreed

My car is just under 13.5" right front and 13.75" left front.... the right rear is just over 13.75" and the left rear is just under 14"

SO I WAS RIGHT.

I asked the dealer if this was covered under my CPO awhile ago, and they said no. This is a pretty drastic difference to me. Now I understand why my car rubs pulling into driveways with the wheels turned.

anyone?

Sorry for the stupid question, but are you all measuring this to the top edge of the center hub (BMW logo) or to the exact center?

Not that this may matter, but remember the left side should sit a bit higher up with no passanger in nit since its built that way so that when you sit in the car it will lower down to equal the right side of the car. Weather or not this is .25-.75 or less or more I have no clue-get someone to measure while you are sitting that would be interesting
