yes they do have memory. each key will have a seat position coded for it so that depending which key you use to unlock the car, the seat will move to remembered position.

I have never sat in comfort seats and if I did I would probably disagree with my statemnt but I love the feel of the Sport seats. That is why I chose not to get comfort seats. After I sat in the Sport seats I fell in love wth them. Wouldn't change them at all.

I love my sport seats. They are plenty comfortable and hold you in much better. I drove a 530 with the comfort seats and, though they where indeed comfortable, not noticeably more so than the sport seats.

I do, however, have to frown at that silly leg support slide out. It is not so comfortable and does nothing for the appearance.

here in the UK, Sports Seats DO NOT come with memory, and are only semi electric, EVEN THOUGH THE BROUCHURE AND PRICE LIST SAY THEY ARE FULLY ELECTRIC / MEMORY EQUIPPED.

I had a bit of a gripe with this, as I ordered the sports seats expecting memory / electric, and i didn't discover the reality until I took delivery.

6 weeks later, BMW have agreed to give me a 66% refund of the cost of the seats - i must say I am impressed with their customer service here, OK, so not a total 100% refund, but having the sports seats is nice, as I'm a tall lanky spud, and the thigh rests are nice.

Well done BMW.

I have to disagree with you there. For me the whole point of buying sports seats was to get this adjustable thigh support feature which I find very comfortable. Almost every passenger I have carried in any BMW I've had sports seats in has commented that this feature is great.

I find that the base on the standard seat is far too short and leaves your legs feeling very sore after a long trip (not a problem for those with short legs I guess though )
