I retrofitted the M-tech kit and it's only since then that I've seen the residu marks.
It's only now that you start talking about it that I realize i never had them before.
Perhaps it has to do with the altered aerodynamics?

Had it on mine...I used a clay bar to get it off. Even with that it was a chore

I used to have it on my 745, however, I do not have it on my 325 (ED) or the X3.

Any of you guys with the sport pack notice a residue mark below the door shut lines on the flared sills! I thought it was door hinge lub but its still doing it. Had to use T cut the other day to remove the marks.

Never noticed it on my last E60 with the flat sills - maybe the titanium grey masked it slightly or BMW forgot to fit the stuff

Hi NM,

When I saw you'd replied to this post I thought you were going to suggest it was leaking diesel or manure

Up the tractors

Cheers

i have the same problem. I used some claybar, its better now but i have the impression its something that is there to stay for a while as it keeps returning but less then before the claybar job.

I also had some wierd shit on my driver sides window. I keep removing it, its gone, i wash the car again it c it again. Very frustrating. Its a kinda fat resido and its 2 inch x 2 inch and a spot with 1 inch x 1 ich in a bio shape curve smear
