Mine's a manual and I wonder what the feeling is like on y'alls into second. Second is pretty darn tough to nail smoothly, have to feather it a bit or hit the rpms just perfect. I wish I could describe it. Does the SMG give you feedback into second?

Love driving in sport mode n paddle shiftin!

Sounds awesome when im slowing down and it starts go under 2500 RPM. That magnaflow makes a nice gurgle at that point.

We're talking about SMG, right? I've used the paddles for 163k miles, and my 545 still has the original clutch. Only problem has been the paddles themselves - had to have the steering wheel rebuilt twice, and it's not cheap.

When you downshift, try touching the brake for a second while it's between gears. When you get the timing right, it eliminates the surge you feel while there's no engine braking during the shift. It's not a bad idea to flash the brake lights anyway, since we're driving engine-braking manuals in an automatic world.
