That "ranking of reputed" companies is meaningless... The survey is nothing more than a marketing tool for "Reputation Institute is a private advisory firm specialising in corporate reputation management and Global Purse".

The point I was trying to make is that I find it odd that just because TATA purchased JLR some of you folkes have doubts... I wonder why; don't judge TATA because they are an Indian complany man, judje them if they are doing a poor job managing JLR... which they are not.
I agree TATA's are loosing money over the purchase considering the mammoth debt they inherited by buying JLR but they are constantly trying to better the company by pumping fresh capital rather than going begging to the govt in their corporate jets.
I think you get my point dude
Tata raises $750M to help pay off JLR debt

This is not the first time when someone questions the new ownership of Jaguar/RR (and rightly so since TATA has had zero presence on the luxury car world stage until now) that a select few come out to tell us all how WONDERFULL TATA is.
Why can't I find US sales data for Jaguar? Wards automotive says TATA will no longer release US sales figures, why? Because they are dropping like a stone. I have seen exactly one new XF on the road in the last year, ONE.
I like the new RR and if I had money to burn I would consider one (as a lease) but anyone who is considering buying a Jaguar or RR has to be concerned about the long term viability of the brand in the US. This is evident in the horrendous depreciation on Jaguars.
