There is a new aluminum 5 liter supercharged engine for the 2010 Range Rover...the normally aspirated one has 375 hp, the supercharged has 510 bone stock with 467 ft/lbs of torque, and it is a MONSTER. This thing weighs almost 7,000 lbs and I'm pretty sure it's faster in straight line than my 545i was and the sound the supercharger makes when you put your foot in it...otherworldly. Down side is the fuel economy is horrendous.
Yep, the horsepower wars continue... Awesome truck you got there.

There's a SUV/Truck buyer's guide in the latest Motor Trend magazine and it listed the RR and RR Sport Supercharged at 5.9s 0-60.

My 545i has been great. 4 years, 40k miles, a few minor issues but a solid car nonetheless. I've been a member here for 5+ years and received invaluable help on many occasions, so thanks much. I wish the Range Rover forum was as active but it's usually a ghost town compared to here. Time to move on though and the new Range Rover supercharged is a hell of a ride. 510 HP, adaptive suspension, every bell and whistle option.

Before you warn me about the perils of owning a Land Rover, my wife has been driving a Range Rover for 4 years so I'm familiar with the issues It's so worth it though, no other vehicle feels so special, plus I tow a lot of toys and was getting sick of borrowing my wifes car to do that. It really is the comfort of an S class, the performance of an M class, and the utility of a jeep. Here's a pic from my iphone...

I get Autoweek Magazine and they had a picture of a RR with the BEST license plate "SIT RVR"

Yes she's a realtor lol. No I didn't have her as my teacher. Not saying where for her privacy (unless you know her full name and look her up) and I remember her daughter-in-law was a realtor too at my dad's office but she moved somewhere else..

Congrats!! Wish I could sell my wife's 545 and get her a RR. Good to see other peeps from FResno here. I use Troy at the service dept at Weber and he's awesome.

I also saw the Enzo and my jaw dropped. anyways, off topic, but there's also a black Enzo running around Fresno, or at least there was a couple of yrs ago.

yeah there's a picture like that for just about every car made. Also FYI the picture you posted is not a Range Rover.

You obviously never did your homework then

Of course its not a RR.........anyways, I hope you don't encounter the millions or problems the UK market has suffered with these cars.

Problems asside they are a really nice motor.
