My Ride: I have a 2004 E60. It was registered in January 2004. It's a Black Sapphire 530i SE with a few options:
- Auto-dim interior + folding exterior mirrors
- Automatic gearbox
- Bi-Xenon headlights
- Bluetooth
- Leather interior (Black-Dakota)
- Navigation system - business
- Service inclusive
- Sport steering wheel
- Star spoke 124 8Jx18"/9Jx18" + run flats
- Top tint windscreen
- BMW 6-CD autochanger
- Supagard paint treatment
- BMW carpet mats
I have a UK spec BMW 530i SE that was built in late 2003 and registered in Jan 2004. It had a software update in late 2004 to try and sort out the Bluetooth kit call quality but that didn't help but I did get TMC on the Business Nav.
The car is going in next week for a major software update. The dealer told me that it would take at least one day and possibly two! Which version of the software am I likely to get?

Thanks. Any idea what this might give me? I've mentioned two problems to the dealer that are bugging me: slightly jerky gear change at low speeds and fairly regular side window anti-trap messages. I hope this version fixes those!
