Software 17.0 fixed my transmission

This has been exactly my case as well. In the (rare) occasion when I've used "DS", I've been on the throttle hard enough that I expect high rpm shift points. Thus, this has been far more of an issue for me in "D" than in "DS". It's great to have this problem fixed now.

That's the silliest thing I've ever heard. If this is the case, the engineers at BMW should all be shot.

Version 17.0 resolved the transmission issue for me as well.
