Hmmm strange i just loaded up DIS/GT1 and SSS onto my laptop incl INPA can get INPA to work fine and cleared a bunch of codes from the car that i got fixed (camshaft sensor etc) but cant for the life of me get DIS to work when i do an API Test all i get is a network time out error? i'm using V_44 of progman/DIS/GT1/SSS
Think i might need to order V_57 to get a more up to date software.
Saying that i would love ISIS that the dealers currently use.
Still cant beat a Launch X431 Master though

Well DIS v44 is installed and working and can talk to my car but I can only do diagnostics not coding / programmin but, Im unsure if DIS supports my car, I have SSS Progman v32 (DIS v52) but need a bigger HD as it needs 80gb installation space.
One step forward .
This is all done with an OBD2 cable no real DIAGHEAD but a software emulator.

Hmmmmmmmmmmmm Im getting the same error when I do the API test..... Thinking it may be firewall or cable related.
Going to try the API test with it connected to the car.. to rule out the cable needing power...

you guys getting the network timeout, do you have ifhserv and ifhserv32 running? Did you modify /etc/ediabas.ini to call IP 192.168.68.1? You know that it will work if you get the IP address showing in the status bar of ifhserv.

yep i get that, I had DIS complain about an IP conflict. Shouldn't that be 192.168.68.30?

PS I have mine set to 192.168.68.30 as well.
If your having trouble getting it to recognise check that the network settings in VMware are correct and the session network card points to the one you set up.... I have a feeling it was a combination of a bad install and me missing the network card setting.
Hope that helps others with the same problem...
