Well DIS v44 is installed and working and can talk to my car but I can only do diagnostics not coding / programmin but, Im unsure if DIS supports my car, I have SSS Progman v32 (DIS v52) but need a bigger HD as it needs 80gb installation space.
One step forward .

This is all done with an OBD2 cable no real DIAGHEAD but a software emulator.

With ODB2 ad diaghead you can only read about 4 or 5 modules. You need the expensive fiber optic connector to perform a full diagnosics and access the numerous modules.

Not yet DIS v44 can`t download my vehicle order from the car, I don`t think it`s compatible. I have just ordered a new bigger HD so I can install Progman v32 then I should be good to go but I will be offering small coding like key folding and the like not full updates
as I don`t have a batter charger and it takes way to long over the OBD cable.

Loads, It took 12 hours to do a full update on my car 2 months ago and thats with ISTA over the fibre conection. The number of modules depends mainly on the options and a fully loaded E60 can have over 60 .

Hmmm strange i just loaded up DIS/GT1 and SSS onto my laptop incl INPA can get INPA to work fine and cleared a bunch of codes from the car that i got fixed (camshaft sensor etc) but cant for the life of me get DIS to work when i do an API Test all i get is a network time out error? i'm using V_44 of progman/DIS/GT1/SSS

Think i might need to order V_57 to get a more up to date software.

Saying that i would love ISIS that the dealers currently use.

Still cant beat a Launch X431 Master though
