My Ride: 545i SMG with Limited Slip Differential
Model Year: 2005
Hi guys!
I'm wondering where can I find, in the car, the SMG control unit .

I would like to disassemble it to check if it has the same connection of the ECU of the engine (has anybody a pic of it ?) .
My goal would be that of extract the software of the gearbox by my tuner and put him to study it to make faster the shifting (he is able to do it on Ferrari cars) .
If you have SMG you surely know that deactivating the DSC/DTC the shifting is much faster than with it activated .
