I really like the CTS-V. Its amazing value and fast as shit. Its ridiculous that it doesn't come with a lower profile suspension and larger, wider tires.

thanks. I've got some that I took the last time it was cleaned that i'll post once I put them on flickr. It's really the polar opposite of the e60. there is not a soft line on the car. very edgy.

yeah... faster 0-60, 1/4 mile, 0-100-0, 60-0 and in the quarter and around the 'ring. plus it'll do 192mph. a guy i know has a completely stock 2010 automatic with the exception of a cai and ran an 11.77 @ 124mph. its a much different feel than the m5 much lower redline and a boatload more torque. i can downshift into 3rd at 70mph on the highway, punch it and wag the tail.

yes it is. it has two settings on the magnet ride suspension, sport and touring. the sport is really really stiff and exhibits little roll. touring is more suited for everyday driving and really delivers a decent ride. apparently, the suspension is capable of adjusting itself 1000 times per minute or somesuch. if it was any lower, i couldnt pull out of most driveways. as it is, its nearly impossible to enter anything with even a slight grade. there is a company that does a ton of r&d on the car and has developed some springs that lower the car, but its difficult because of some rod that determines the ride height, its difficult to set them up. i would like the looks of it if it was little lower as well but will wait to see how it looks with new wheels.

i believe the tires are the same sized ps2s that are on the m5. it has 285s on the rear, but really needs 305s which is why im trying to see if i can cram 12" wide wheels on it... so far, the biggest confirmed is 10.5.

we'll see...

but again, its no M5, but its at least 20k less...

I have my 535 for a little over 2 more weeks before I turn it in and hop in the E55 that's been a garage queen for nearly a month. The 535 is a very well balanced car. Great mix of performance and luxury. I sacrificed the amazing handling and 6MT of the 535 and decided to try out the brute power of the E55.

Your CTS-V looks great. I considered that for a little while, but I had my mind set on the E55. Who knows what will be next......
