Hey guys, I got a "Service" message on my iDrive but it doesn't say what service needs to be done? I don't want to take it into the stealorship if it's something I can take care of myself.

What do you think?

I'm pretty sure the "vehicle check" refers to what the little picture implies. They probably raise the vehicle to inspect it thoroughly from underneath for road damage and excessive wear. Mine hasn't gone off yet, don't think i'll worry about it when it does either.

Do a search for standard service checklist, if you feel comfortable then check what you need to. You can do a reset on the service interval. Directions can be found on the forum. I think you turn the key over once and then hold the odometer button down until you see the option, release and press again to go through the menu. I'd have to do it as I don't remember offhand but just do a search. Be careful not to reset the other intervals if keeping count matters to you.

I'm getting the same thing, it's a 60,000km vehicle check..

I called my SA, and he said (like PaoChe mentioned) it's a basic checkup

SA also said it's not a priority for me to bring it in (apparently the stealership mechanics are quite busy installing winter tires now). He also said that I could continue driving and won't cause any damage, just simply to ignore the service message popping up. The fact that they wouldn't do anything is disappointing, but given that I just made my recall appointment, I'm going to get them to at least disable the message (at most, DO THE DAMN SERVICE lol) A little effort on their part would be nice
