Sensatec in E60 - your opinion needed

Recently BMW Europe offered the new interior option for E60 - artificial leather Sensatec. It costs approx. Euro 120 and could be treated as practical alternative to textile interior. IMHO it could be good news for families with young kids.
I've learnt from my BMW dealership that Sensatec is available in USA for some time. Can you share with me your opinion about it?
I have some doubts related with the Sensatec:
- How it performs during hot days?
- What about its endurance compared to real leather?
- How does it look like in the reality? - pictures are more than welcome.
