Update on my situation-
Got a call from my mechanic the day after he told my engine is seized. He said it didnt make sense that an engine this age would fail like it did, so he took a another look. Turns out there was an issue with one of the valves, which caused oil to leak everyhere.
I guess there was a ton of gunk in the engine, and it all froze and sat at the bottom while i went to china, when i got back, i guess something happend. (As you can tell im not car technical at all, but im glad to say i got it all fixed for $950 + $490 for a new starter)
No new engine req'd! woohooo!
