It may very well be, since both the brightness and hue are WAY off. That was the picture used in the product description on the site i bought them from and since I though I saw it around the net, I didn't have much faith to begin with. Needless to say, I will be returning them.

One thing people need to remember is that their E60s are now many years old. If you haven't changed your bulbs right away to at least the lowest level of LED available, your fiber optics are now burnt due to the high heat of the crappy OE bulbs.

Your output is indicative of a burned out fiber optic and likely your only choice is to cut out your headlight seal and put the Orion V2 or V4 into it.

 

If I had this information earlier, I wouldn't have bothered to try and bring my halos back from the dead. But... now I know, so thanks for that.
