Default Search for the brightest pre-lci E60 Angel Eye?

Hi, I have been searching for a set of angel eyes that are white and visible during the day...I have a 2005 BMW 525i E60 however it is the pre-lci model....

I have replaced the stock amber with canbus white t10 angel eyes which are beautiful at night however not very noticeable in the day....

Does anyone know of a good set that will fit my model car?

thanks any help is appreciated

I have an 04 545i and just installed MTEC V3's and love them. They are bright and very white. Some say they are the best you can get without opening up your headlights and going the Orion V4 Path. They are bright at night, not so much during the day. Either way, they look a lot better than stock. Orion's by far are the nicest out there! Being Pre-LCI we don't have too many options as far as bulb replacements go. Hope this helps.

Mtec V3 is the way to go for a PnP solution. Like Hyper said, if you want to open up your headlight housing and do some hands on work, Orion v4 is the way to go.

Like others have said, the Mtec V3 is the best option besides getting the Orion LED's which require modification.

P.S. - I hate this new forum's font. Shit is hard to read.

Guys, he has pre-LCI halogens. He mentioned T10 bulbs, which is what pre-LCI halogen uses.

To the OP. You have no choice. You either get Orions, retro to another headlight (pre-LCI xenon, LCI halogen, or LCI xenon), or buy Umnitza's ProjectorE60 that they're selling.

There's no cheap way for what you're looking for and expectation.

i have the same issue as you, i tryed many many bulbs ..and you will see NONE during the day unless you go with what Nomis stated. However the bulb i found to be the brightest are these ones from ddm http://www.ddmtuning.com/Products/194LED-1x3WLED-W they are meant for reverse lights but ive had success with them but they do burn out much quicker..within 5 months i'd say and here is how they look around dusk

Not bad

I my self have Pre-LCI headlights and they sell an HID kit on ebay for "Reverse T-10 bulbs" but of course you'll also need the error free adapter to those. I currently have 3W T-10 and they look great at night but are useless during the day.

any suggestions?

they have led chips all the way around the "bulb" or housing. again useless during the day for the most part unless if it cloudy/think over cast or rainy lol

ill find a pic or snap a pic of the bulb they sell you if you'd like.

pre lci halogen are useless.

Hah, holy crap, I didn't even know they made HIDs in T10 form factor.

I'd imagine those would possibly be visible during daytime, but I would be concerned with overall heat generated considering 2x T10 HIDs (even if it's only 30w) plus 55w halogen when low beam is on.

Thanks for that I needed some one to confirm I could not go the mtec v3 way as I wasn't sure from the mixed feedback received...The pre-lci halogens are very useless....

The led T10's I have are nice at night but like I said day time they are pathetic...

Don't know if its worth spending the money on the Umnitzas as I am getting a new car next year most likely....

thanks for the help
