Remove CDC and now no audio from car,

last night I removed my CDC, now all audio is dead, no beeps, no radio nothing, not even the seat beat chine

Obviously something didn't get reconnected properly after removing the CD changer. Hopefully someone who's played around with this kind of stuff will help you out...

You can't just remove the CDC!
The MOST bus is a fibre optic network that relies on two way communications, one fibre for out and one for return. If you have just disconnected the CDC you have broken the circuit, in effect a loop, of fibre. You will need the proper blanking plug available from BMW or perhaps Ebay? You will also find quite a lot of ther things are not working eg in EU spec cars the SOS feature will fail etc.

. I will contact BMW for the plug, what exactly is it called ?

Ok, put the CDC back in and everything is working again, WOW, the strange how removing just a CDC will disable all these features on the car.
