RED LINE BAD???????

Guys i have a bmw 550i i usualy never turn off the dtc when i hit it hard but i did at a lite earlier today and noticed the car didnt shift it went all the way to redline which it never did b4 and hung smak in the middle of red for a full second is this bad for my baby ????

semi bad if you have not completed the break in period.. good if otherwise bimmers are meant for driven to red line!
