Its getting close to the time to switch to summer tires. I'm looking for something to provide the smoothest ride possible, but still provide reasonable performance, a quiet ride and reasonable tread wear. Some of the expensive tires at tirerack received terrible reviews on noise and treadwear.
The two I though were interesting were Goodyear Eagle F1 GS-D3, but that seems a bit too aggressive. The g-Force Sport by BFGoodrich, but these seem too cheap to be good ($99) and have reviews on a lot of cheaper car. I was never really happy with the noise on the continental all seasons on my old 328.
Any suggestions?

BUT
if you want best tire out there thats been tried n tested.. get the michellin pilot sport PS2s. not cheap but worth it.
p.s i had birdgestone s03s and went from s03s to ps2s the s03s were noisy and grippy the ps2 were quieter and lighter too.

I would go for Nitto NT555 or Falken Fk452. they are really good tires for summer. I have them on my car and i love them. it sticks really well and I just drove 130mph without anyproblem
