I never said that.

There is not much to the area in question. I've obviously been in there.

In the meantime i'll park outside. It gets incredibly hot here in north Texas in the summer. While this mostly affects "cold" climates, I've seen many a cars on the side of the highways due to overheating in the summer months.

Would be nice if a local dealer would provide a loaner or rental until a "remedy is available" and have my car parked there. My E60 is about to hit 200k miles, so it could definitely use a break from daily driving lol.

I just got this notice. I just took my car to the dealer last December for the same thing under a different number (17V-673 /19V-273). I guess that didn't fully fix the issue.
On another note, will the defective PCV valve heater cause the engine to overheat?

I doubt it. The car would probably run rough or throw codes before that happens.

I just received my recall notice today.

It states that the PCV Heater may be out of spec, and the remedy course of action is still being planned.

Default It's important to have this NEW recall done

I received ANOTHER recall notice regarding the PCV heater in January and plan on having it done ASAP after I watched this video.

Yes, this is the THIRD recall regarding this issue, and even if you had one of the previous ones done, you need to do this one too. It affects ALL N51, N52, N52n or N52tu engines.

I recently received my letter to bring my car in. Around here, you have to wait because they either run out of parts or are booked full for months. That's what happened last time.

I made an aforementioned statement that I did not need the recall because I replaced the part with genuine BMW. Upon further research, I replaced a different part, not the one this recall is replacing.

It's not so much the replacement of a part as it is the addition of a fuse.
