Has anyone here taken the car to the dealer to get the brake problem fixed after BMW announced the recall ?

Local dealer said my prob was bad vacuum pump and master cylinder. Had cylinder replaced under 3rd party extended warranty, had to pay out of pocket $1500 for the vacuum pump as warranty said it was not covered. Damn!!
