I'd really have to twist my brain, but I probably could.
I don't want you to have to twist your brain so instead, how about giving me 72 reasons?

Prestige of owning an AMG car??????? Please explain that further.
It's the same prestige as owning an M car. What's to explain?

I didnt know it was so prestigious to own an M car. I dont really think that way. I would reserve that vocabulary for an Aston Martin or a Phantom or something of that caliber. Not necessarily an M car or an AMG. Thats just me. Like I've said, What do I know??????

M cars = AMG cars as far as the prestige factor goes. I don't see either one having more than the other...

Not likely to happen, the E63 has too much torque. By the time the door shuts it's already 1/2 mile down the road.

Bimmer32, just curious why you didn't look at a slightly used M5? You can get one for less than a new 550 nowadays. Or does your current choice imply that you'd prefer an E63AMG over an M5? If that's the case, GTFO!! J/K hahaha

Anyway, this decision or debate is unbelievable subjective as you all know. It'll just boil down to your personal preference on what's more important to you (brand loyalty, price, power, handling, looks, "prestige", fuel, insurance...). Good luck with your decision.

Get E63. I never drove one, but I got to sit in the passenger sit once. Wow.
E63 has that mean aggressive beast wearing a hugo boss suit look.
Really I don't think there is any comparison here unless you are talking M5 to E63.
