I had problems with my 07 530i feeling like it was catching crosswinds at high speeds. I had the rear struts replaced today due to a recall. It fixed the problem. The car feels nice and firm at 120-140mph. It also has a more firmer ride. I think that the dampner was defective as well as the mounting bushing. When i picked up my vehicle, I was told that there is a SZL recall that is three days old. So Germany has started a recall. I haven't had a fault for it yet with 7k on the vehicle. I was told that it didn't mater if the vehicle had a fualt or not that it is a saftey issue and needed to be corrected. My dealer is also going to hook me up with the Ipod coding for free after they do the SZL program.

 

I did get the fault that car stability control system and hill assist were malfunctioning. Those warnings started to appear on my screen when a take a left turn. Since then every time I turn left completely, warnings started to come.

Anyway no safety problems, you can keep driving was the answer when I called bmw. BUT Just annoying when I was used to the hill assist. AND since I got the car for 4 months, car's backside managed to slide when turning too quickly. But nevermind it was fun. Since they were replaced no sliding anymore.
