Realistic MPG on 525i?

My Ride: On Order as of May 6- 2007 530i Titanium Grey and Grey Leather, with Sport Package, Premium Pkg, Cold Pkg.

On my drive yesterday from Charlotte to Atlanta and back I averaged 30.3 MPG. I have often averaged 33 MPG on trips. I was driving a bit faster at around an average of 77 MPH.

Doing all highway miles I can usually get just above 30mpg (33 being the best ever).
For mixed highway/city driving I usually average about 24-25mpg. (non-sprited driving)
I am very surprised at the fuel economy, I was expecting 20-30% lower than what I am actually getting.

Don't forget there is a difference between fuel grades and imperial vs metric mpg (I think??? or did I dream that??), so please include your location in your post if it's not already in your profile when answering
People often say how cheap fuel is in the US ... but my god your fuel sucks ... !! 525i in the UK, you'd get low to mid 30's no problem.
