I have the same car as you and I am getting 28.73mpg

on my car it says 7.6km/L in HK

1 us gallon is 3.78 liters
I am get 7.6km from 1 litter.
3.78 x 7.6 = 28.73mpg

I got 290 miles at 3/4 of a tank. On the trip I got 25mpg that was driving in 6th and rpm was 2600-3000 the whole way

Over 47K miles, on my 05 525, I'm getting 21-22 mpg. Mixed SoCal driving, fwy and city.
I find that pure fwy driving I can get 28-30 mpg, but I've yet to drive all fwy on 1 tank of gas.
