Rattling Driver's Window

My Ride: 2005 545i (build date 04/05) silver grey metallic/black leather/anthracite maple/6 speed Steptronic/sport package/cold weather package/premium sound package/active cruise control/navigation system/HUD/Sirius satellite radio/comfort seats/rear electric sunshade/rear airbags/rear seat heat/fold down rear seats
I know about defective door seals (of which I have so far been spared), but has anybody experienced a rattle in the driver's side window? I have a 4 month old 545 that has not made a noise until this week. It is intermittent and not affected by the window position. It's location right next to your head makes it noticeable and annoying.
