Our 2006 530xiT just lost all of the radio presets.
In addition, noticed some of the options such as auto-door locking are now changed.

Prior to this I've experienced the following iDrive related failures:
1. iDrive Black screen.
2. Power Seats and Seat heaters randomly stop functioning.
3. Radio runs after car is shut off.

I understand that upgrading to CIP 20.01 will fix most of these problems - but it is frustrating to have such a great car with problems like this.

 

Just realized that the loss of presets is not really a problem as it is tied to the key. Therefore it is a "user problem".

 

Hey, don't worry. Look at my thread about he "triangle" message. I was using the same key it, reset my Idrive radio setting and door locking option too.
