after reading this thread, I wanna buy a V1 radar detector now.

where can I get a brand new one for the cheapest price? ebay? how can I tell if it's the latest version? anyone can help?

I've seen some new ones going on ebay for $350ish but a brand new from Valentine is $399 so it might be worth it to just buy directly.

You can input the serial# into the Valentine site and it will advise if the software is up to date.

I recently purchased a used V1 off ebay.
