puma case open, and dealership still doesnt know whats wrong

Geeeze i shoulda came here 2 months ago lol. Well ill let you know how long til i get my car back and if they extend my warranty out

Glad to hear there just may be light at the end of this very dark tunnel for you. The vast majority of dealers are very reputable but, with that said there are a few (not many) that are far from it. I'm not implying your dealer is inept, but in my opinion they sure dropped the ball on this one, and good call contacting BMW NA. I believe in doing so prompted the dealers to finally call you back with the update. BMW NA = loyal, dealers = hit 'n miss. Good luck

Thought this might amuse you guys.....went to work and came out with an email from the guy that sold me the car saying "what are you up to christyna????? And a vmail from him saying "what are you up to?" And this was the original dealer...this guy has always kept in touch when i go in there but mmmmh a light must have been sparked for him to contact me outa no where

Replacing the DME should fix the problem. It sounds like the DME (the brain that controls almost everything) has failed or is faulty. There are DME issues across the BMW product line so it's not too surprising. It's in your favor. It is a good fix since they've replaced everything else already!
