Thumbs up

Just ordered a master and valet key from the dealer. Are they suppose to program the key? Can I do it myself?

No info on what you drive, but we did that for an 06 E90 and nothing was needed to program the new remote key.

On my old 545, yes the dealer programmed the a new key for me when my spare was lost... Only takes two minutes and they didn't charge anything.

Edit: Good point, some info on your car would help. I think for the newer key fobs, no programming is needed but for the older real key like my '04 545, yes it had to be programmed.

Im surprised they ordred it for you without telling you the details. They should have verified your vehicle registration, and then ordred the key. It comes good to go.
