My Ride: #1: 2004 545i; 6-speed manual; Sport Package; Mystic Blue with a gray leather interior and Anthracite wood; CWP; Logic 7.
#2: 2010 535xi Touring; Automatic.

I read the manual to check because I never learned that fuction from reading the manual.
I read the manual many times before geting the car and afterwards.
The description never mentions to push in the same direction.
It just made logical sense to push in the opposite direction to the resist point.
I might call it an undocumented feature?
Anyway, it is still becoming too easy to set turn signal on when trying just to get lane change tripple.

[/quote]I don't think that you actually have to push it all the way to the same side, but only to the detent. I think pushing it all the way will just re-engage the turn signal.
