Hi,
Under full acceleration when shifting from 2nd to 3rd it feels like the DSC is taking lots of power away just when releasing the clutch. There might even be some breaking applied.
What can I do to avoid that?? It is somewhat bothersome.? I noticed this in Europe but had forgotten all about it.
SueBMW,
I cannot help you with Service Bulletins, but the attached article in BMW magazine speaks of the amazing synchromesh in the 6 spd. It suggests that you can even slide into R while rolling forward. My 6spd behaves as designed after 5600 miles. Still easy to execute shifts with just two fingers. Please show this to them. You are right, no car manufactured in the last 30 years requires double clutching. Go sock it to em!
Not the CDV. Infact all the CDV does is shorten the travel of the pedal where it actually engages and disengages the gearbox. I have the CDV still in. I have learned to shift with it.

Oh yes, I actually read that article and showed it to them a long time ago. Thank you... I'll print it out for my file. I thought that was a little ironic. They were going on and on about how incredibly smooth the 6-speed was in the article, and then telling me my 1950's dumptruck transmission was normal. I think there's a little disconnect there...

10K and I still haven't adjusted to the wandering engage/disengage point of the clutch. I'm giving up and going with the modified CDV.
