Hi,

Under full acceleration when shifting from 2nd to 3rd it feels like the DSC is taking lots of power away just when releasing the clutch. There might even be some breaking applied.

What can I do to avoid that? It is somewhat bothersome. I noticed this in Europe but had forgotten all about it.

Please input your location in your profile. It helps in answering your questions.

Sounds like a trip to the dealer in instore. Maybe a software update would take care of this.

We've got the problem. But the dealer won't fix it or acknowledge it is a problem. Our clutch sticks & even ended up burning out at 7k miles, and they still won't admit in writing there is a problem.

Sorry to hear it, but glad to see someone else has the same problem. They told me that it was acceptable to need to double clutch to put it in first gear & reverse gear-- it was actually "expected" with this transmission. I'm sorry, but I don't EXPECT any expensive car to need to be double clutched!!! I also need to use two hands to pull it into gear sometimes because it is so stiff. I've been in 9 times for this problem now (as well as a host of other problems each time). The furthest I got was the FSE drove the car, verbally admitted there was an issue, but said they wouldn't fix it and made the dealer put "no fault found" on the R.O..

Later when i get the chance ill put all the service bullitens i found up. It goes over the procedure to fix the first gear and hard shifting problems. It also goes over the slips. There are 3 or 4 of them.

I would GREATLY appreciate that. That's what 2004RType or whatever his name was promised me and never came through on. It would be extremely helpful to have the bulletins so I can show them something.

DSC prevents tires from slipping so I don't believe you have problems as this appears to be DSC at work. The same situation occurs during hard acceleration form 1st to 2nd, yes?

The problem can be fully avoided if you turn DSC/DTC off. Or perhaps faster shifts or a better balance between the clutch and shifter would help.

I still have my CDV in at the moment. I ordered the modified CDV, but have yet to have it replaced.
