My Ride: 530I Silver gray with gray leather with Premium Package, Logic 7 Premium sound system with Ipod interface, xenon adaptive headlights, Active steering, Power retractable rear sunshade, Comfort seats, Cold weather package and M5 OEM 166 wheels, Sprintbooster. Ceramic Tint all around, Bilstein Sports shocks with Eibach springs, Brake performance Rotors and Axxis ceramic pads.
I have a friend with a 328I and similar noise at high speed. A six month old car, it was later foumd out a windshield seal problem. A very miniscule leak not even enought for water to get in. It creats a whistling sound at about 80. Solution= reseal the windshield.

My Ride: Black 2006 BMW 530i with sport and prem package, staggered 124 wheels, 50% tint, AC Schnitzer aluminum pedals, black interior w/ alum trim set, M style body kit and sound upgrade: Alpine PDX-5, PXE-H660, sub, MBQuart speakers.
UPDATE:
Drove the car yesterday in a different highway at up to 115 mph, and NO NOISE at all!
The thing now is I don't know if the noise had anything to do with the road, or maybe I was running against the wind that day.
But yesterday it was great, the car ran great and faster than the other day, and there was no noise whatsoever.
So I'm still undecided on to what theory to stick to.
